The examinations will take place on March 10, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide and is the second leading cause of death in women. Although the diagnosis sounds frightening, early detection significantly increases the chances of successful treatment. Malignant breast tumors in Bulgaria affect about 3,500 patients per year. It is important for every woman to know how to take care of her health, what are the methods of prevention and which symptoms should not be ignored.
Breast ultrasound is an ultrasound imaging test that provides information about the formations in the tissue of women who are not yet in the menopause. Not every formation is cancer, experts emphasize. An ultrasound examination is not painful or dangerous to health. Regular examinations help detect breast cancer at the earliest stage and its treatment to be the least traumatic, with the broadest horizon for the patient.
