Ci\u00f2 significa che, anche con una dieta sana, alcune persone possono avere livelli elevati di colesterolo. Il motivo \u00e8 una predisposizione genetica o caratteristiche metaboliche individuali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ldl-\u0438-hdl-\u043a\u0430\u043a\u0432\u0430-\u0435-\u0440\u0430\u0437\u043b\u0438\u043a\u0430\u0442\u0430\">LDL e HDL: qual \u00e8 la differenza?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il colesterolo non circola nel flusso sanguigno da solo, ma viene trasportato da speciali particelle chiamate lipoproteine. I due principali tipi di colesterolo importanti per la nostra salute sono LDL e HDL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le LDL, o lipoproteine a bassa densit\u00e0, sono spesso chiamate &quot;colesterolo cattivo&quot;. Questo perch\u00e9, quando i livelli sono elevati, le LDL si accumulano sulle pareti interne dei vasi sanguigni, formando placche aterosclerotiche. Nel tempo, questo accumulo pu\u00f2 restringere i vasi e aumentare il rischio di infarto, ictus o altre malattie cardiovascolari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le HDL, o lipoproteine ad alta densit\u00e0, sono note come &quot;colesterolo buono&quot;. Il loro ruolo \u00e8 quello di raccogliere il colesterolo in eccesso da tessuti e vasi e trasportarlo nuovamente al fegato, dove viene elaborato ed espulso dall&#039;organismo. L&#039;interpretazione dei risultati deve essere effettuata individualmente, tenendo conto dell&#039;et\u00e0, della presenza di altre patologie e del rischio complessivo di eventi cardiovascolari. Tuttavia, esistono valori indicativi a cui la pratica medica si sforza di attenersi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Il colesterolo totale dovrebbe essere inferiore a 5,0 mmol\/L.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Per il colesterolo LDL, si raccomanda un valore inferiore a 3,0 mmol\/L per gli individui sani e inferiore a 1,8 mmol\/L per i pazienti a rischio aumentato.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Il colesterolo HDL dovrebbe essere superiore a 1,0 mmol\/L negli uomini e superiore a 1,2 mmol\/L nelle donne.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Questi valori non sono assoluti, ma servono come linee guida per valutare se \u00e8 necessario un intervento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-\u043a\u0430\u043a\u0432\u0438-\u0441\u0430-\u043f\u0440\u0438\u0447\u0438\u043d\u0438\u0442\u0435-\u0437\u0430-\u043f\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0448\u0435\u043d-\u0445\u043e\u043b\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0435\u0440\u043e\u043b\">Quali sono le cause del colesterolo alto?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebbene una parte significativa del colesterolo venga prodotta dall&#039;organismo, il nostro stile di vita gioca un ruolo cruciale nel mantenerne i livelli entro limiti salutari. Tali cambiamenti spesso portano a risultati tangibili senza bisogno di farmaci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I cambiamenti nella dieta includono:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ridurre i grassi saturi ed evitare i grassi trans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maggiore assunzione di fibre solubili attraverso alimenti come avena, legumi, cereali integrali e semi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Usare i grassi vegetali con moderazione, ad esempio olio d&#039;oliva, avocado e frutta secca cruda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporare pi\u00f9 frutta e verdura.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limitare la carne rossa, il burro e i formaggi grassi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Anche l&#039;attivit\u00e0 fisica regolare \u00e8 fondamentale. Si raccomandano almeno 30 minuti di esercizio moderato al giorno, cinque volte a settimana. Questo pu\u00f2 includere passeggiate, nuoto, ciclismo o anche giardinaggio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anche il controllo del peso corporeo e la riduzione della circonferenza della vita contribuiscono a ridurre il colesterolo. Anche smettere di fumare e limitare il consumo di alcol hanno un effetto positivo sul profilo lipidico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-\u043a\u0430\u043a\u0432\u0430-\u0435-\u0440\u043e\u043b\u044f\u0442\u0430-\u043d\u0430-\u0445\u0440\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0442\u0435\u043b\u043d\u0438\u0442\u0435-\u0434\u043e\u0431\u0430\u0432\u043a\u0438\">Qual \u00e8 il ruolo degli integratori alimentari?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In caso di valori borderline elevati, quando non vi \u00e8 indicazione al trattamento farmacologico, pu\u00f2 essere preso in considerazione l&#039;uso di integratori alimentari. Il gruppo di farmaci pi\u00f9 comunemente utilizzato \u00e8 quello delle statine, che abbassano efficacemente il colesterolo LDL e stabilizzano le placche esistenti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In alcuni pazienti vengono prescritti farmaci aggiuntivi per raggiungere obiettivi pi\u00f9 rigorosi, come ad esempio un LDL inferiore a 1,8 mmol\/L in caso di rischio aumentato o inferiore a 1,4 mmol\/L in caso di precedente infarto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dr-svilenov.online\/za-men\/\">Dott.
